EIC CORPORATE DAY WITH BBVA & FERROVIAL

We are very pleased to announce that IDVIA is among the selected companies to participate in the joint EIC Corporate Day with BBVA & Ferrovial.

On the 26th and 27th May 2020 an exclusive number of selected SME specifically chosen from the portfolio of the European Commission’s EIC-funded SMEs will have the opportunity to pitch their business cases and to engage in One-on-One Business meetings online with BBVA & Ferrovial representatives. We have been selected because Ferrovial is seeking for SMEs working on innovative approaches to different areas, including construction tech.

At the time, our technology for structural health diagnostic of bridges was awarded by the European Innovation Council (EIC). We feel extremely proud because EIC only supports top-class innovators with bright ideas that are highly risky and radically different from existing products, services or business models, with the potential to scale up around the world.

We really appreciate this chance to explore new ways for cooperation with Ferrovial, one of the world’s leading developers of transport infrastructure.

During those two days we hope to be able to show them of how our disruptive technology for the identification, quantification and prediction of the evolution of damages in civil engineering structures can contribute to their goal of adopting an Intelligent Management.

Our advanced algorithms for diagnosis and prognosis of structural damage (that provide our solution with the predictive capability that differentiate us from the competitors) could help them to improve safety and operational efficiency while reducing maintenance cost of the bridges they manage.

PAROST is a low cost and easy to install system capable of not only identifying (locating and quantifying) visible and non-visible structural damage in civil engineering concrete structures but also predicts their evolution over time for making cost-effective maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement decisions (MR&R), and to ensure that safety, serviceability and functionality of the structure can be sustained over its designed service life. The latter makes PAROST a real disruptive breakthrough in the structural health monitoring area considering all existing SHMs on the market.
